Close-up
Each piece is captured in a rare moment where light, time, and place come together.
I found this Indian paintbrush at the edge of a wildflower meadow in the Wasatch Range and stopped everything else I was doing. It was standing above the surrounding blooms — a single stem of that particular magenta that paintbrush achieves at peak, surrounded by smaller white flowers at different heights, with the mountain ridgeline rising behind the dark forest in the background. I knew immediately what kind of photograph this was going to be.
I shot close, with an aperture wide enough to let the background go soft but not completely abstract — I wanted you to feel the mountain and the forest behind the flower without being distracted by their detail. The depth of field keeps the paintbrush in sharp focus while the white flowers around it blur into something impressionistic. It's a portrait of a single bloom, but the mountain behind it reminds you exactly where you are.

My Commitment
craftsmanship
Quality and craftsmanship sit at the heart of every piece I produce—long after the shutter clicks and long before a print ever reaches a wall. From meticulous file preparation to museum-grade materials and exacting color accuracy, each image is refined through a deliberate, uncompromising process designed to honor the moment it was captured. It is this final, critical step that transforms a fleeting encounter in the wild into a lasting work of fine art.
