Full Proof
Each piece is captured in a rare moment where light, time, and place come together.
I repositioned at Buffalo Trace for a second composition, this time featuring Weller Full Proof - part of the wheated bourbon family that shares a mash bill heritage with Pappy Van Winkle. The same artistic treatment: monochrome scene with selective color preserved only in the bourbon itself.
What I wanted to capture was the parallel between these expressions - different labels, different age statements, but connected by production methods and ingredient choices that date back generations. The barrel head remains the backdrop, that carved buffalo representing Buffalo Trace's ownership of these iconic brands. The Weller bottle sits prominently, its script label visible even in black and white, and the glass holds that amber focal point.
The technique works because it creates visual hierarchy without ambiguity. Your eye goes immediately to the color - the bourbon - which is exactly what matters. Everything else provides context: where it's made, how it's aged, the tradition it represents. But the liquid itself, rendered in its true warm amber tone against a grayscale world, becomes the undisputed subject.

My Commitment
craftsmanship
Quality and craftsmanship sit at the heart of every piece I produce—long after the shutter clicks and long before a print ever reaches a wall. From meticulous file preparation to museum-grade materials and exacting color accuracy, each image is refined through a deliberate, uncompromising process designed to honor the moment it was captured. It is this final, critical step that transforms a fleeting encounter in the wild into a lasting work of fine art.
