And They're Off
Each piece is captured in a rare moment where light, time, and place come together.
Horse racing at its most electric happens in the first half-second. Gates open, and a thousand pounds of thoroughbred muscle compresses into pure forward motion — jockeys standing in the stirrups, horses low to the track, the crowd rising before the sound even registers. I was positioned at track level near the starting gate at Keeneland, and when this group broke, I had about one second to get everything I wanted.
What I love about this image is the organized chaos of it — four horses breaking simultaneously, each one fractionally different in stride, the jockeys' silks a blur of green and orange against the blue sky. The starting gate still visible behind them, the green infield stretching away to the right. It's a moment that exists for less time than it takes to describe it, but the camera holds it forever.

My Commitment
craftsmanship
Quality and craftsmanship sit at the heart of every piece I produce—long after the shutter clicks and long before a print ever reaches a wall. From meticulous file preparation to museum-grade materials and exacting color accuracy, each image is refined through a deliberate, uncompromising process designed to honor the moment it was captured. It is this final, critical step that transforms a fleeting encounter in the wild into a lasting work of fine art.
